And Then My Soul Let Out a Deep Sigh

This print by Parada Creations on Etsy is pretty much how my soul feels right now.  It has been a long journey for us in conceiving a little miracle of our own.  After years of injections, ultrasounds, appointments, scans, surgeries, and of course tears…it seems the path we have embarked on is just about exhausted.  You’d think that I would be completely devastated by this news, but in fact, I am kind of relieved.  (I’m not saying I am not sad, cause I am. I just know it’s not the end of the road for our future miracle.)

Knowing that my body is not going to cooperate with our dreams is sort of liberating.  I no longer have to get my hopes up for something that is near impossible each and every month.  Instead, I can now look forward to other avenues of making our dreams come true.  Cause you know what, they will.  For that I do have hope.

  1. I’m sorry to hear this Mary, but I know your dreams will come true. There are so many babes in the world that need the kind of love and light that you and Sev can offer! Much love friend…
